Herding® Multicoater Unused New, 3 pieces available e.g. film coats of tablets During the spraying phase, a very fine dust is produced during the film coating of tablets, which is extracted from the fluidized layer into a filter device with a defined air flow. The dust is sticky and without the precoating material forming a protective layer on the filter, the surface would stick very quickly. The Multicoater is a pneumatically operated dosing device and is usually operated with inert gas. It consists of a template container including control and conveying technology and is filled via a loading opening in the housing cover. The dosage is done via an injector pressure pump with a flow rate of 1.3kg/min. The MultiCoater has an internal control system that automatically controls the flow of the fluidizing, conveying and rinsing sequence.
