Van der Sluis horse trailer – 2 seater – 1994
Van der Sluis closed horse-drawn van, Paardevan type, first put on the
road on 27/01/1994. The van is equipped with a double axle with
mechanical suspension, an inertia brake and a Knott KF20 coupling.
The interior layout is designed for the transport of two horses and
includes a central partition, side guards, partition bars and a
rubberized floor. The van also has a side door, windows, rear lighting
and a spare wheel.
The rear loading ramp must be replaced. The van must therefore not be
used to load horses before it is replaced or repaired. The condition
of the floor, tyres, brakes, bearings, lighting and braking system
must also be checked before being put back on the road.
According to the Belgian identification report, the trailer has a tare
weight of 1,000 kg and a maximum authorised mass of 2,000 kg, i.e. a
theoretical payload of around 1,000 kg. Chassis number: BPB14026.
Hitch: Knott KF20.
The available documents include the Belgian registration certificate,
the certificate of conformity, the identification report and a
certificate of retyping of the chassis number. The chassis was
officially re-struck in 2009 by the company Stuer-Egghe. The original
certificate of conformity mentions a single-axle trailer, while the
2015 identification report indicates two axles, configuration visible
on the trailer. Auction-ID: A3-46140-33703
