Multifunctional Safety Tester KT 1880B – Test Automation on 6U

The KT 1880B is a compact safety tester in a 19" slide-in format (5 U) and combines all relevant test types in one device: high-voltage test (AC/DC), protective conductor test, insulation test, equivalent leakage current test, function test and continuity test.

The KT 1880B thus meets the requirements for efficient, safe and standard-compliant safety testing according to IEC, EN, UL, VDE and other international standards – ideal for final testing, production and quality assurance.

Test automation & ease of use
Thanks to the integrated 4.3" TFT color display with intuitive menu navigation and freely configurable test programs, the KT 1880B enables a fully automated test sequence.
The test specimen only needs to be connected once – no replugging required.

This significantly reduces inspection times and sources of error and is therefore a clear advantage, especially in automated production environments.

Compliance with standards & occupational safety
With a short-circuit current of 3 mA AC / 10 mA DC, the KT 1880B meets the requirements of EN 50191 for devices limited to safety current.
This means that it can also be operated by non-electricians – ideal for companies with mixed test personnel structures.
