CNC Milling Machines SERON 1328 PRO+

SERON 1328 PRO+ CNC router was built in 2023 in Poland by SERON Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. The machine was designed for precise and efficient machining of a wide range of materials, i.e. soft metals, plastics, wood and glass. Thanks to its versatility, it is ideally suited to production plants with diverse production profiles.

The SERON 1328 PRO+ represents an extremely attractive combination of state-of-the-art technology and solid mechanics. The monolithic, heavily ribbed design made of high-grade steel effectively eliminates any vibration and deformation generated during even the most intensive operation. An intelligent energy recovery system further significantly reduces the machine’s operating costs.

The machining process is performed by means of a brushless HITECO electro-spindle with an efficient cooling system. The inverter powered spindle reaches speeds of up to 24000 rpm, ensuring a high quality and precision of machining. The machine works together with an automatic tool changing system (ATC), which enables the use of multiple tools without the need to stop the process and recalibrate. Each tool is additionally automatically measured before each change, which increases the work accuracy.

Workpieces are mounted on a large 2800 x 1300 mm vacuum table equipped with positioning bases. This solution enables rapid and repeatable positioning of the material relative to the X and Y axes, at the same starting point. The table’s design enables independent working sections to be separated, making it possible to adapt the work area to the specific workpiece. The table surface is protected with an MDF board.

To guarantee high feed repeatability, all machine axes are driven by OMRON brushless servo drives with planetary gears. These drives, thanks to feedback compression, ensure that there is no operating deviation by continuously controlling the motor parameters. What’s more, communication via the ultra-fast EtherCAT protocol allows the data to be processed in real time, minimising delays and increasing feed precision.

The 1328 PRO+ router is operated by the OSAI OpenSmart industrial control system based on the PC platform. It offers an intuitive interface, a 24″ LCD display and access to all necessary functions. The operator also has a portable control unit (pendant) at his disposal, which enables him to perform operations without having to approach the machine control panel.

SERON PRO+ is offered with an extensive range of equipment, such as CAD/CAM software, a 5.5 kW vacuum pump and a cooling unit (chiller). The dust extraction system visible in the photos is available for purchase at an additional cost of €9250 net.
