Mechatronics RPU-2100R Reagent Production Unit

The Mechatronics RPU-2100R is a reagent production unit used in the field of hematology to optimize reagent logistics in laboratories.
The instrument is manufactured by RR Mechatronics and is often used in combination with Sysmex hematology analyzers.

Purpose and function

The RPU-2100R (Reagent Production Unit) is designed to automatically dilute concentrated reagents (such as Cellpack S Conc.) and produce large quantities of ready-to-use reagent on-site in the laboratory.

The RPU-2100R is a stand-alone device whose components are all housed in a closed housing.
The housing features removable, epoxy-coated sheet metal covers.
All external connections as well as the ON/OFF switch are located on the back of the device.
All components that can be serviced and replaced by the user are accessible through the front door.
The trolley for the Cellpack concentrate (here e.g. Cellpack-S® Conc.) can optionally be coupled to 3 sides of the device.

The RPU-2100R focuses on optimizing reagent management for high-throughput laboratories:
Reagent concentrates: Uses Cellpack S Conc. in 10L and 20L containers.

Throughput per concentrate:
With a 10L container, up to 8,250 blood counts can be carried out per month without changing the reagent.
With a 20L container, up to 16,500 blood counts per month are possible.
Shelf life: The mixed reagent has a shelf life of 30 days after opening.
