High-speed Graphic Packaging International Marksman 750HS continuous-motion multipacker, manufactured in November 2017 and designed for secondary packaging of beverage cans into mechanically locked paperboard multipacks.

The machine was last used for packing 330 ml and 500 ml beverage cans into 4-pack and 6-pack configurations. The installed application is based on 66 mm diameter cans, with pack arrangements of 2 × 2 cans for 4-packs and 2 × 3 cans for 6-packs. Standard Marksman 750HS formats include 1 × 2, 1 × 3, 2 × 2 and 2 × 3 packs, with additional formats available through suitable change parts. Max continuous operating speed is 250 packs/min

The cardboard carton blanks are wrapped around the grouped cans and secured using Graphic Packaging’s mechanical locking system. This produces a stable, fully printed multipack without requiring hot-melt adhesive for the main carton closure.

The Turner/Divider receives finished multipacks from the Marksman 750HS and arranges them according to the required downstream conveyor configuration. Depending on the choiceed production layout, the unit can turn the packs, divide the product flow and distribute the packs into separate lanes for subsequent conveying, palletizing or other downstream handling.

The Marksman 750HS has accumulated only approximately 9,000 operating hours. The delivery includes a matching Graphic Packaging Turner/Divider, manufactured at the same time. The machine has Siemens Simatic S7-300 control system with touch screen HMI and additional Gentac industrial tablet for tablet is intended to support machine operation, maintenance and format-change procedures
