MAAG M-USG 600 H – PET Pelletizing Line, 6,500 kg/h – 2018

MAAG Automatik M-USG 600 H pelletizing line, manufactured in 2018, designed as an underwater strand pelletizing system for the continuous production of polymer pellets and originally used for PET. The line integrates automatic strand feeding and cutting, water cooling, hydraulic conveying, centrifugal drying and pellet classification, with an approximate nominal capacity of 5,300 kg/h and a maximum design capacity of up to 6,500 kg/h.

Equipped with an 80-strand die head, automatic feeding system and strand pelletizer/cutter, hydraulic conveying system, MAAG CENTRO 1600 centrifugal dryer, exhaust fan, VIBRA Schultheis SRK 15/7.5-I-V-S vibrating screen, and control system with Siemens SIMATIC HMI.

Predominantly stainless-steel construction in the areas in contact with the product and process water.

Suitable for PET pellet production and potentially for recycled PET (rPET) pelletizing applications, subject to process configuration and material characteristics.

Two identical lines available, fitted with MAAG CENTRO 1600 dryers, machine numbers CE-0468 and CE-0469. The equipment remains installed and is available for inspection in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.
