600-4V+4F S60 WITH INFEED AND OUTFEED MECHANIZATION

This four-sided heavy-duty planer for timber was specially designed
for planing of constructional timber and glulam beams. The machine is
suitable for green as well as kiln dried timber. Machine is equipped
with hydro cutterheads.
The adjustment of cut off on the first cutterhead is motor driven. Set
value is shown on operational panel.
One’s desired thickness is set through an adjustable top unit with
second cutterhead, the adjustment is motor driven with spindle lift
mechanism in 6 columns with 120 mm diameter. The set thickness is
shown on operational panel.
The vertical units enable good clean surface or profiling. The machine
has two opposite vertical floating heads (float up to 40 mm) so they
can adjust to the curvature of the beams. The floatation of the left
vertical unit is actuated by a pneumatic cylinder. The side pressure
shoes can be adjusted according to the toll diameter.
Both vertical units can be axially adjusted for 20 mm. (under the
working table level), digital display of position. The spindles are
mounted with support bearings.
The adjustment of cut off on the right vertical cutterhead is motor

Adjustments of the planing width is motor driven. Set value is shown
on operational panel.
Essential adjustments can be carried out on the front side of the
machine.
Four-sided milling units 2 + 2
The upper milling units are pneumatically actuated. Chamfer size is
manually adjustable. The units are mounted just after the vertical
spindles and are attached as vertically floating heads.
The lower chamfers are made with milling tools under the planing heads
on the vertical spindles.
Tools: Milling heads with carbide turnover knives.
Feeding system with frequency converter allows infinitely variable
feed speed, which can be set according to thickness and quality of
workpiece.
The set value can be read off a display with scale.
A robust heavy duty feeding system:
Reliable feed is ensured with three synchronized driven roll pairs
with big diameters.
First top feed roll with 240 mm diameter is helical toothed, hard
chromed and pressurized with air bellows.
Second and third top feed rolls with 240 mm diameter are smooth and
pressurized with air bellows.
First table feed roll with 190 mm diameter is helical toothed, hard
chromed and pressurized with air bellows.
Second and third table feed rolls with 190 mm diameter and parallel
lifting.
Pneumatically pressurized pressure beams before the second planing
spindles, and adjustable pressure shoe behind.
Pneumatically pressurized side roll on the infeed table is adjustable
by motorized drive.
