KAWASAKI RA006L robotic welding station is used for precision welding
of workpieces using the MIG/MAG method. The station, equipped with two
independent welding tables, is protected from the inside with SICK
safety curtains and from the outside with double doors with safety
locks. Next to each door is a control panel, with a safety switch and
other necessary buttons.
The welding station is complete and consists of the following
parts:
– robot arm: KAWASAKI RA06L
– controller: KAWASAKI E controller E40
– MIG/MAG welder: KEMPPI KempArc SYN 300
– wire feeder: KEMPPI KempArc DT400
– manual welding table 2×1 m (2 pcs.)
– safety curtains: SICK
– cooling device: KEMPPI KempCool 10
– cleaning station: ABICOR BINZEL BRS-CC
– KEMPPI and ABRICOR BINZEL welding accessories
– anti-blinding shields
– inductive sensors: SICK
– door bolts and stops: SICK
– control cabinet
– mounting components
– wiring
All welding processes are performed by the KAWASAKI RA006L 6-axis
robot, which uses 0.8 mm welding wire fed from a spool. An argon/CO2
mixture (92% Ar + 8% CO2) is used as a shielding gas. The machine,
manufactured in 2013 in Japan by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd, is
distinguished by its simple use and high reliability. Its slim design,
combined with an increased range of arm movement, allows free
operation in all positions, even in hard-to-reach areas. In addition,
each axis is driven M5751405 by a powerful servo motor. The KAWASAKI
welding robot weighs only 150 kg.
