The name T64000 stands for a triple spectrometer system. It has three
monochromator stages (diffraction grating) connected in series, which
means that interfering laser light can be suppressed extremely
effectively. This allows Raman signals to be measured that are very
close to the laser line – up to a distance of a few cm⁻¹
Key features
Triple monochromator design for maximum stray light suppression
Very high spectral resolution (up to about 0.15–0.3 cm⁻¹
depending on configuration)
Measurement of very low Raman shifts possible
Combination with microscope (Micro-Raman)
Different laser wavelengths from UV to NIR
Liquid nitrogen-cooled CCD cameras for low-noise measurements
Typical Applications
Application area
Semiconductor Stress and Defect Analysis
Geology Mineral Determination
Chemistry Molecule Identification
Nanotechnology Graphene, Carbon Nanotubes
Art/Conservation Pigment and Material Analysis
Solid State Physics Phonons and Lattice Modes
