The Alpine AFC Flake Crusher is used to gently grind brittle and easily breakable materials in order to reduce their size. It can obtain low dust granulates thanks to its gentle crushing process controlling the maximum permissible top cut while avoiding the generation of undesired fines. It´s used for coarse milling and can reach particle sizes between 0,5 and 10 mm depending on the feed product. The AFC can be used for mixture homogenization, flakes granulation, disintegration of agglomerates, increasing bulk density and flowability of clumped materials. It´s H5757533 fitted with a rotating H5757533 grinding tool which can work in combination with a sieve of choice to adjust the resulting product according to specification. The sieves exchange is quite fast reducing the unit´s downtime. Suitable for different industries such as pharmaceutical, food, chemicals, etc.
