Technical description brewing installation – 550 litres

Complete professional stainless steel brewing installation with a net boiling capacity of 550 liters. The installation is fully manual, without PLC or electronic process automation.

Composition of the installation:

1. Hot water boiler – 300 liters

- Stainless steel, single-walled and not insulated
- Propane heating
- Equipped with pump for the rinse water

2. Mash kettle – up to 600 litres net

- Stainless steel, double-walled and insulated
- Propane heating
- Mash is transferred to the lauter tun with a pump

3. Filter tun

- Stainless steel, double-walled and insulated
- Perforated filter bottom
- Large manhole at the front for removal of spent grains
- Spray ball for rinsing with hot water from the hot water boiler

4. Boiling kettle – 550 liters net

- Stainless steel, double-walled and insulated
- Propane heating
- Equipped with whirlpool

Operation:

The mash is pumped from the mash tun to the separate lauter tun. Rinse water is distributed from the hot water boiler via the spray ball over the filter bed with a second pump. The wort is collected in a collection stand where the clarity can be visually checked, after which it goes to the boiling kettle. After boiling and the whirlpool phase, the wort is cooled via the plate heat exchanger.
