The SF series uses scroll technology, where there is no metallic contact with the compression elements, which is why absolutely no oil is needed in the compression chamber.
This makes the system ideal for applications that require completely clean and oil-free compressed air (e.g. in the laboratory, medical or food sectors).

The three installed scroll compressor elements were recently overhauled or replaced.
