20 Ton Hydraulic Rolling Jack – Model 517
Italian brand professional rolling hydraulic jack, model 517, for lifting heavy trucks, buses, trailers, machinery and other heavy vehicles. The nameplate indicates a lifting capacity of 20 tons, a year of construction 1974 and the serial number 81388.
The jack is equipped with a heavy metal frame, travel wheels, a lifting saddle and a long control handle for positioning and use. The hydraulic system works properly: the jack rises and falls normally and holds the load. The operation was checked at the time the photos were taken.
The whole is in an old and used condition, with peeling paint, traces of rubbing, visible oxidation on some metal parts and general wear corresponding to its age and professional use. The wheels and some mechanical elements also show traces of corrosion. These defects are visible in the photographs and do not prevent the use of the jack.
The plate provides recommendations for purging air from the hydraulic system and using a mineral oil with the right viscosity.
