The SensiSpray is an advanced sprayer that calculates very accurately the amount of pesticide needed for the crop. The SensiSpray unit measures the leaf mass of each plant with sensors.
Based on this, the machine determines how much agent needs to be sprayed. As a result, less crop protection product and water is needed. An example: normally 300 liters of water with agent were needed per hectare. Currently, depending on the crop stage and the size of the crop, this is only half.

SensiSpray links crop biomass measurements to minimum effective doses that are released with a Vario Select nozzle system per section of the spray boom. Research results from WUR have already shown that 50 to 90 percent savings on crop protection products can be achieved by spraying crop-dependent.
